Hundreds of Rwandans and Friends of Rwanda on Monday 4^th July 2011, gathered at the residence of H.E the Rwanda High Commissioner to Uganda to celebrate Rwanda’s 17th anniversary of the Liberation Day.

New Immigration Law

The Government of Rwanda has introduced a New Immigration Law No O4/2011 of 21/03/2011 and its implementing ministerial orders on regulation and fees published on Official Gazette No 24 of 13 June 2011.

The New Law comes to implement the National Migration Policy aimed at attracting skilled workers, promoting investment, tourism and enhance national security. ......[Read More]

President Kagame supports Capital Market by applying for Bank of Kigali shares

KIGALI, Rwanda- The President of the Republic, Paul Kagame, has given a big boost to the capital market by being among the first applicants of the domestic tranche for the Bank of Kigali shares which are being offered through an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The offer period started on 30th of June 2011 and will end on 29th July 2011.
